Shocking stats on domestic violence, can anyone share their opinion?

My opinion is that these statistics are as unsurprising as they are unjust. People assume that women are always the victims in Domestic Violence, when really, most DV is mutual. The woman is more likely to initiate DV, but the man is more likely to cause serious injury with DV, because he is stronger. There need to be battered men's shelters like there are battered women's shelters.
